Mission & Expertise

In partnership with the Music for Healing and Transition Program, we’ve undergone training to become Certified Music Practitioners (CMPs) who focus on the art and science of providing therapeutic music for the body, mind and spirit. Our voices and guitars resonate in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted care facilities, hospice centers and the comfort of homes for personalized one-on-one therapeutic music services. We believe in using the inherent healing qualities of music—melody, harmony, rhythm and more—to create an environment that supports the body’s natural healing process.

What is Therapeutic Music?

Therapeutic music, offered by CMPs like us, integrates beauty, presence and the profound power of therapeutic music into healthcare environments and may facilitate healing. Unlike pursuing specific goals, our focus is on meeting the present needs of patients with in-the-moment therapeutic music. Through the intrinsic healing elements of live music and intentional care, we strive to create an atmosphere conducive to healing.

Who We Are

Meet John Warpinski

I’m John Warpinski, a lifelong singer, songwriter and performer with a journey that has taken me across many towns and cities in America. My professional vocal career has brought me back to my roots in Wisconsin, where I’ve discovered my true calling as a Therapeutic Musician. After years of chasing the “dream” as an artist, I now find fulfillment in living the dream by using my artistry for a higher purpose. Our six years of experience in this field have been both challenging and spiritually rewarding, sprinkled with moments of joy and laughter.

Having Good for the Soul Therapeutic Music, with Cass and John leading, join us during my mother’s hospice care was a profound blessing. Mom, at 96, moved in with us in Denmark, WI, in March 2022 after being in Hospice Care in Illinois. Thrilled by Unity’s offer to start a music program for Mom, Cass and John used their talents to create an uplifting atmosphere in our home. Their warm introduction, personal interaction with Mom and beautiful voices immediately put her at ease. As they sang, Mom lit up, attempting to join in on familiar tunes, creating moments of sheer happiness for all of us. Discovering Mom’s Lutheran background, Cass and John went above and beyond, incorporating her favorite hymns, which was beyond wonderful. Their commitment over the following months, even in Mom’s final moments, brought solace and peace, creating a lasting harmony in our hearts.
